What is Stucco?
Here is the short version of this process:
Hard-Coat or Conventional Stucco is applied by,
- First wrapping structure with Tyvek over felt for moisture protection and drainage
- Second, is to apply metal lath including corners, expansion joints, stop and flats.
- Next, is to apply scratch coat base then after drying apply brown coat base with concrete bond.
- Finally, wrap up with the proper Finish Coat per color and texture according to specified request to provide a quality look.
